Medical Insurance Coder/Biller
The Medical Insurance Coder/Biller 证书 program prepares the student to work in a medical office, 诊所, 外科中心, 急救中心, 或医院. Emphasis is placed on medical terminology, use of electronic medical management systems, medical financial management, 疾病情况, diagnostic and procedure coding, and medical office and hospital billing. This is a competency based program that allows for a variety of program completion options which may include credit for work experience or waiver by exam and therefore can be tailored to meet the needs of both the novice and experienced coder or biller to prepare for numerous industry credentials.

A certificate is the minimum required to gain employment in the field, while one can enhance their career opportunities with an associate degree program. The College now offers the Associate in Applied Science in Allied Health, which builds from the coder/biller program.
